Industry minister receives German delegation

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed R. Alzayani met a business delegation from the Euro Mediterranean-Arab Association (EMA) headed by EMA president/former president of the Federal Republic of Germany Christian Wulff as part of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting yesterday, they reviewed a number of topics and issues related to the economic aspect and ways to enhance economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Organization state members, stressing the the importance of such visits and meetings to follow up the developments of common issues and achieve common aspirations. In this regard, the minister said: "The government of Bahrain works continuously to develop the economic sectors and update legislations and regulations in a way corresponds with regional and global variables, the government of Bahrain is working to enhance and develop investment sector to be in line with its strategies and its future visions." the minister touched on the investment environment owned by Bahrain and appropriate climate to host major regional and global projects, pointing to the potential and investment opportunities offered by the government to investors from all over the world.
