Information Minister stresses role of press in defending Arab national issues

Manama, June 9 (BNA): Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi received today journalist Jihad Al-Khazin and commended his contributions as one of the most prominent Arab writers in defending national and Arab issues. He praised Al-Khazin’s support to security and stability in Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf as well as his stances against terrorism and hostile foreign interference. He also underlined the role of the Arab press in protecting the Arab national security. On his part, Al-Khazin thanked the Information Minister for the meeting and for his keenness to promote pan-Arab media work.
