Information Ministry-BFA cooperation discussed

Manama, Sep. 6 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has stressed the Ministry's keenness on providing a comprehensive and integrated media coverage of various sporting events and activities as the best means to highlight the landmark achievements attained by Bahrain at GCC, Arab and international sports gatherings during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's prosperous era. The minister was speaking while receiving the Board Chairman of the Bahrain Football Association (BFA), Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, with whom he reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in covering local sporting events and tournaments through the Bahrain Sport 1 and Bahrain Sport 2, and other media outlets. They discussed the administrative and technical facilities regarding live coverage and the work of technical crews. BFA chief expressed thanks and appreciation to the minister for his constant cooperation, and interest in ensure the media coverage of sporting events, especially football, which will boost the youth and sport movement in the kingdom.
