Information Ministry, BIC discuss cooperation

Manama, Aug. 31 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi commended the cooperation between the Information Ministry and Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) for the fourth consecutive year to organize the National Day Festival at the Bahrain International Circuit, the home of motorsport in the Middle East, on December 14-17. The minister today received BIC Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and reviewed preparations for staging Bahrain's celebrations of the National Day and the 17th Anniversary of HM the King's Accession to the Throne. Al-Romaihi praised the BIC efforts in organizing the national festival and the media coverage of the various artistic, marketing and musical activities, as well as the children's entertainment programmes that attracted 90,000 visitors throughout the festival annually, which reflected the delight of Bahrainis in celebrating the national festivals and development achievements accomplished under the royal reforms. BIC Chief took pride in hosting the National Day celebrations activities at the BIC, appreciating the minister's interest in boosting cooperation and promoting the BIC activities through various media channels.
