Intercity traffic halted due to severe weather

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Road Transport Department of Mongolia informed that there has been traffic control issues on the movement of passengers and auto vehicles due to snowstorm in the western region of Mongolia. Today, March 22, the Road Transport Department decided to halt services of 7 bus carriers destined to western aimags Bayan-Ulgii, Khovd, Gobi-Altai for an indefinite period. The officials advised the passengers not to travel to western area because of the severe weather.
