Interior Minister attends graduation ceremony

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): Interior Minister and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Academy of Police (RAP), Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today attended the graduation ceremony of the 12th batch of university graduates cadets who completed all the courses of the Criminal and Police Science Diploma.
The Interior Minister asserted that the Interior Ministry would continue to train its personnel in accordance with the latest international standards. He highlighted the importance to invest in human resources as a key point in security modernisation and dealing with various incidents with high preparedness, discipline and performance.
He hailed the leading role of RAP in training and meeting the education development, security changes and increasing challenges, by building capabilities and skills.
The RAP commandment, in a speech, welcomed Interior Minister, highlighting the dedication of the academy as part of the directives of the Interior Minister to enhance the competency, discipline and goal achievements through the training and education policy for the Interior Ministry personnel. He continued that such approach was also implemented through the follow up of the Chief of Public Security.
After that, the batch member recited the oath, and Interior Minister honoured the top students and distributed certificates among the graduates. He congratulated them and urged them to continue to work hard in serving the nation. The event was attended by senior MOI officers and the families of the graduates.
