Interior minister meets French envoy

Manama, June 6 (BNA): Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received French Ambassador Cécile Longé. The French envoy introduced Dr Essam Badawi who is nominated to be the advisor for the National Ambulance Centre at the Interior Ministry. The meeting also attended by Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa. The minister welcomed the guests, appreciating the efforts of the French side in the success of the project that comes to meet the needs of the public and the international development in rescue and safety. He asserted the importance of moving forward to reinforce cooperation and speed up the drafting of the required agreements. He highlighted the need to carry comprehensive evaluation of the project to check its readiness and suggestions for their implementations to enhance the safety of citizens and residents. The meeting was also attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources and Members of the National Ambulance Committee, Lt-Col. Louay Abdulrahman.
