Interior Minister receives National Security Advisor

Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa attended the meeting. The Interior Minister welcomed HH Shaikh Nasser and congratulated him on the Royal order appointing him as National Security Advisor. He stressed his capability to carry out the duties of the post, describing it as an advanced step within the comprehensive development march and the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, to boost national security. The Interior Minister hailed the approach and initiatives of HH Shaikh Nasser under the leadership of HM the King, wishing him all the best. Topics pertaining to promoting security and stability were reviewed during the meeting which was part of the visits of HH the National Security Advisor to various ministries and government organisations to meet officials to promote developments of Bahrain under the leadership of HM the King. The meeting was also attended by Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs and Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science. (MOI)
