Interior Minister receives US Deputy Treasury Secretary

Manama, Nov. 23 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received here today US Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, Justin Muzinich. Bahrain Ambassador to Washington, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, attended the meeting. The Interior Minister welcomed the US official, who is visiting Bahrain to take part in the 15th IISS Manama Dialogue, held annually in Bahrain with the participation of global political, military and academic officials from all over the world. The meeting reviewed relations between the two countries and means to reinforce joint cooperation and coordination for the best interests of both nations. The two sides also discussed various topics, including efforts to fight terrorism and money laundering. The meeting was also attended by the Director-General of Media and Security Culture and Security Attaché of the Bahraini Embassy in the US.
