Interior Minister's speech welcomed

Manama, Feb 22 (BNA): Al-Ajam Community Center has issued a statement in which welcomed the speech of the Interior Minister Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, which comes at a time Bahrain facing intellectual terrorism in the aftermath of the Iranian blatant and intolerable interference in its internal affairs. The statement reiterated backing up government measures for the protection of home security against Iranian terrorism, and maintaining religious rituals performed within the law. It expressed categorical rejection of exploitng religious platforms and rituals for disseminating the ideology of terrorism which is alien to Islam. It highlighted the need to follow the speech content in respect of the protection of religious platforms from extremism, incitement and politicizing Husseini rituals. It stressed standing by the wise leadership led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supporting all measures Bahrain takes to maintain its security and stability.
