BANGKOK, April 9 (TNA) -- The Interior Ministry has set up one stop service at ‘Damrongtham centres’ help centres nationwide, in an attempt to facilitate celebrants of Songkran festival, Thailand’s traditional New Year, which falls later this week, said a spokesman of the ministry. Starting from Sunday night, the one stop service to be operated at the Damrongtham centres, which were the public complaint centres nationwide, to provide assistances to the public round-the-clock until April 17, the spokesman said. The water splashing festival starts between April 13 – 15 in Thailand. Complaints or help sought by people can be made through an emergency line number 1567. People can seek assistance through application "SPOND". Officials have also prepared to provide vital information such as major tourist destinations, hospitals and telephone numbers of government offices to the public.
