In an article posted on "The Sports Daily website", the Russian journalist Artem Markov underlined that the methodical smear campaigns unleashed against Qatar did not succeed to dissuade the fans from all over the world from travelling to Qatar to enjoy this gargantuan football event, owing to the substantial number of those who are trying to book hotels and purchase the trip tickets to Doha, including football offers, pointing out that the criticisms that have been directed against Qatar since winning of the bid to host the tournament, along with the boycott campaigns all indicate that the European countries cannot concur with the fact that it is Qatar that obtained the right to organize the tournament and brought numerous innovations and features to this event. In an article posted on the Jordanian Sawsana newspaper under the title: "Tournament in the lap of the sisterly Qatar", the Writer Souad Al Mojil said that the tournament will be a milestone for the entire region, not only in terms of sports, but politically, socially and culturally that consolidates the peace features among nations and peoples, noting the growth and development witnessed by the State of Qatar, adding that Qatar has managed to shortcut long distances and many years in the process of its growth since winning of bid to host FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. With regard to the campaigns and critics unleashed against Qatar since winning of the bid to host the tournament, Souad Al Mojil said that there is no need to narrate the details of the attack against Qatar's tournament, especially after the emergence of the underlying causes behind this attack that confused the politician with the esthetician etc. In addition, Arab CNBC TV reported that FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 constitutes an economic gain which is not less than the sports aspect with regard to the Arab region, noting that such global event represents a golden opportunity for the tourism and aviation companies to stimulate further recovery in the local market through working to attract the fans who flock to Qatar during the days of the tournament.
