International Solidarity Organization Calls for Implementation of June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement

Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- The U.S. arrogant and unilateral policy can never work on the DPRK which values sovereignty. So said in a statement issued by the Korean Friendship Association on June 5 on the occasion of the first anniversary of the adoption of the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement. The statement referred to the measures taken by the DPRK for peace of the Korean Peninsula and the world. It said: The June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement of great historic significance is now on the verge of turning into a dead document as the U.S. shuns its implementation. There is a limit to the DPRK's patience. Now is the time for the U.S. to roll back its hostile policy towards the DPRK. -0-
