Iran MPs appreciate strength of IRGC in defending borders

Tehran, IRNA – Lawmakers at Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) issued a statement on Wednesday to appreciate the power of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force in staging drills in the northern country and Aras zone to defend the borders through its strong presence there. In the statement signed by 223 parliamentarians, it is said that Iran will never tolerate change in borders. The legislators also underlined the necessity of the IRGC and the Armed Forces readiness to stand against instabilities and creators of tension and conflict among the regional states. The statement was read out to the Majlis open session this morning. The IRGC Ground Force war game sent a clear message of peace and sustainable security for the neighboring countries and a warning to the enemies, according to the statement.
