Iran to review oil sale to European countries

TEHRAN (A.A) - Iran will review its oil sale to certain European countries, told sources on Wednesday.
According to the Iranian Radio and Television Corporation, Iran conveyed its resolution to halt oil sales to certain European countries by summoning the Tehran ambassadors of relevant countries to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
The ambassadors of France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal were summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
In the meeting with European ambassadors, Iranian diplomats discussed the EU's decision to end buying Iranian oil as of July 1st and the steps to be taken by Iran.
No details were given on the Iranian diplomats' meeting with European ambassadors.
Iran's Minister of Petroleum Rostam Qasemi on February 4th had said that "exports of oil to certain European countries would certainly end".
Iran has no concerns vis-a-vis oil exports. Iran will not surrender to the demands of the United States. We ask the Eu to reconsider its decision to place an embargo on Iranian oil, Qasemi had said.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Parliament had also issued a statement that steps would be taken to end oil sale to the EU.
