Iranian illustrator awarded at Belgrade Golden Pen Biennial

TEHRAN,Nov.13 (MNA) -- Iranian children’s book illustrator Sima Shahmoradi was awarded at the Belgrade Golden Pen Biennial. She won the Belgrade Golden Pen plaque for illustrating “The Legend of Golden Bergamot” written by Atusa Shamlu. Two other plaques from the event went to illustrators Vitali Konstantinov for “And then” (Germany) and Doru basil for “History of the World” (Serbia). All categories of illustrations for books, magazines, newspapers, bibliophile editions, animated films, cartoons and electronic media from all over the world participated at the event. Organizers of the Biennial are the Serbian Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers, (ULUPUDS), and the Exhibition Council.
