TEHRAN,Dec.17(MNA) -- Artworks created by sixteen Iranian graphic designers are among the posters on display in the “Green + You: Posters for Japan” exhibition in Seoul, South Korea. Posters on Japan’s horrible earthquake on March 11, 2011 are on display during a showcase at Seoul’s Doosung Inthepaper Gallery from December 12 to 17. Posters by sixteen graphic designers including Amir Hossein Rastegari, Zahra Riahi, Zohreh Riahi, Ali Omrani, Somayyeh Mehdizadeh, Hani Jalali, Morteza Farahnak, Dariush Vares and Benyamin Soleymani are on display at the event. The posters were selected by the 23 jury members for the exhibition. The renowned Iranian graphic designer Kurosh Parsanejad was among the jury members of the showcase. The exhibition is organized by Green + You, an independent, non-profit organization based in Seoul. On its website, the name, described as code words for the coexistence of Human (You) and Nature (Green), is based upon leading an environmental friendly life and all its aspects: social, political, economic and spiritual. After the Japanese earthquake, Green + You began to invite designers from all over the world to express their love and support for the people of Japan through the medium of the poster. The selected posters by the Green + You Jury can be purchased at each international exhibition around the world. All money raised will go directly to the Red Cross to aid Japan.
