Iranian TV productions honored
TEHRAN, Jan.1(MNA) -- The first edition of the Jam-e-Jam Festival of Television Productions in Tehran selected the top TV series, honoring winners during a ceremony on Wednesday.
Organized by Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), the festival was held in several different categories including animation, telefilm, documentary, and short film.
The series “Warm Autumn” by Elham Ebrahimi won the best animation award in the animation section and the best director award went to Hossein Moradizadeh for “Tales of Mardush”. Directors Babak Nazari and Saeid Zameni also shared the best animation series award for “Shekarestan”.
“A Bit Farther” by producer Ruhollah Hejzai won the best telefilm award, while the best director award went to Hassan Fat’hi for “Reverse Gear”. The best screenplay award was handed to Hojjat Qasemzadeh Asl for “Tales and Truth” and Hamid Farrokhnejad was honored as the best actor at the festival for his role in “Habib”.
Bita Baderan won the best actress award for her role in “Reverse Gear” and musician Fardin Khalatbari won the best music award for the telefilm “Habib”.
At the documentary section, the best director award went to Masud Amini Tirani for “Soil of Memory”, and the best music award went to Mohammadreza Aliqoli for “Life of Marjan”.
“House of Ayyub” by Farshad Fadaiian was also awarded with the best short film award.
