Iraq Condemns Targeting Mussafah Area in the UAE

Baghdad, January 18, 2022, SPA -- Iraq has condemned the targeting of oil pipelines in the Mussafah area in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). ”Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) strongly condemns the attack on the United Arab Emirates and the targeting of oil pipelines in the Mussafah area,” according to a statement by MOFA received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). The statement added, "We affirm the Iraqi position by standing against any aggression and rejecting escalation in the region. We renew the call for solving crises by peaceful means and negotiations between all concerned parties to bring security and stability to the region,” --SPA
