Islamic Affairs Undersecretary receives Moroccan Ambassador

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA): Islamic Affairs Undersecretary Dr. Fareed Yacoub Al-Miftah received Moroccan Ambassador to Bahrain, Ahmed Rashid Khutabi, and hailed the solid historical relations bonding the two kingdoms and their people. The undersecretary highlighted Bahrain’s keenness under the royal leadership on boosting the bilateral relations in various fields. The undersecretary and Court of Cassation’s Judge Sheikh Adnan Al-Qattan will participated, during Ramadan, in a religious guidance session staged by Religious Affairs Department and Taraweeh programme to organized by the Holy Quran Affairs Department in a number of mosques in Morocco. The two officials will also join a large number of intellectuals and religious scholars of Arab and Islamic nations to participate in a series of Ramadan Hassani lectures patronized by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco. The Bahraini participation in Morocco’s Ramadan activities falls within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and its Moroccan counterpart to exchange expertise and benefit from the Moroccan experience in disseminating the Imam Malik’s doctrine.
