Israeli Embassy launches Israel Film Week

BANGKOK, Jan 25 (TNA) -- The Israeli Embassy in Thailand is set to launch an ISRAEL Film Week @ the 14th World Film Festival of Bangkok, aiming to encourage more Thai people to know more about Israel. The week long film fest is a part of the 14th World Film Festival of Bangkok, which for the premiere, the Israel Embassy would showing a documentary film called, 'Presenting Princess Shaw'. Israeli Ambassador to Thailand Simon Roded said the showing of Israeli films in Thailand would help promote the country to the Thai people, creating an opportunity for Thais to learn more about Israel in ways they have never known before, which in turn will help strengthen the relations between both countries' people. A total of three Israeli films are scheduled to be shown at the SF World Cinema Central World between January 26-31, including two other films called 'Night' and 'Self Made'. (TNA)
