Jaafariya Endowments Directorate condemns terror bombing

Manama, July 4 (BNA): The Jaffariya Endowments Directorate (JED) has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the sinful act of terrorism which resulted in the death of a Bahraini woman and wounded a number of her children in Eker village. The Directorate offered its sincere condolences to the family of victim and wishing the injured children a swift healing. The Directorate denounced such ceaseless dangerous escalation, the targeting of citizens' lives and all acts of sabotage and violence that seek to drift the country into the turmoil of insecurity and political tensions. The Directorate strongly deplored such criminal attacks which targeted innocent lives and damaged public and private properties with the sole aim of destabilising the nation, intimidating the citizens and residents and undermining civic peace and security. The Directorate issued a statement in which it has praised the efforts of the security men in maintaining security and order in compliance with the law. The Directorate condemned all forms and manifestations of violence and terrorism, urging to resolutely and without procrastination confront such criminal acts which did not respect the sanctity of the most blessed days in the holy month of Ramadan. The Directorate urged religious pulpit orators and scholars to carry out the dictates of legal duty and Islamic teachings by moderating religious discourse and investing in the spiritual atmospheres of the holy month of Ramadan by calling for national unity and dedicating their public speeches to sow the spirit of moderation and to fortify national unity and moderate religious discourse and to condemn such abhorrent violence and terrorism outlawed by the rule of law, moral ethics and religion.
