"Jack Ma" extends condolences on passing away of late Thai King

BANGKOK, October 17 (TNA) - Jack Ma, the founder and chairman of Alibaba, the world's largest e-commerce platform, has signed the book of condolences for late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Shanghai, according to the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On the occasion on Monday, Ma told Thai Consul-General Parichat Luepaiboolphan to also convey his sincere condolences to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and other members of the Royal Thai Family, as well as all Thai people during this time of grief. Ma said late His majesty the King is a most revered person in the world who is beloved by everyone, including he, himself. Over the past 10 years, Ma recalled, he has travelled to Thailand more than 10 times and every time, he saw Thai people loved, respected and were grateful to late His Majesty the King’s great contributions to the Thai Kingdom, Asia and the world.
