Jeenbekov lays wreath at Fallen Soldiers Memorial in Abu Dhabi

Bishkek, Dec.12, 2019. /Kabar/. Yesterday, Dec. 11, Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov laid a wreath at the Memorial to the Fallen Soldiers in Abu Dhabi as part of his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, his press service said.
The ceremony was held with the participation of the Honor Guard, accompanied by a military band. The Kyrgyz leader honored the memory of soldiers and civil servants of the Emirates who fell in the performance of their duty to their homeland, toured the hall of military glory and left an inscription in the book of honorary guests.
Wahat Al Karama, which is also known by its English translation Oasis of Dignity, is a war memorial and monument in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates located across Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to commemorate all Emiratis who are killed in the line of duty.
The memorial was unveiled on the United Arab Emirates Commemoration Day on Nov.30, 2016. The memorial is composed of three structures: the leaning pillars, the pavilion of honor, and the memorial plaza. The names of all Emirati soldiers who are killed in duty are inscribed in the pavilion of honor.
Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov is in the UAE for official visit at the invitation of Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Within the framework of the official visit, bilateral meetings are planned with UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In addition, Jeenbekov is expected to meet with representatives of the UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Hamad Salem bin Cardous Al Ameri, the Director General of the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan Charitable Foundation and with compatriots temporarily residing in the UAE.
The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic consists of Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President’s Office Daniyar Sydykov, First Deputy Head of the President’s Office Almaz Kenenbayev, MPs Marat Amankulov, Zarylbek Rysaliyev, Nurbek Alimbekov, Kamchybek Zholdoshbayev, Ulugbek Ormonov, Emil Toktoshev, Prosecutor General Otkurbek Dzhamshitov, Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Azamat Jamankulov, Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Isakov, Minister of Labor and Social Development Ulukbek Kochkorov, Minister of Emergency Situations Nurbolot Mirzakhmedov and Minister of Economy Sanjar Mukanbetov.
