Jeenbekov to take part in CCTS extraordinary video summit on coronavirus

Bishkek, Apr. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Apr.10 Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov will participate in an extraordinary video summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS), his press service said Friday. At the extraordinary meeting to be held under the chairmanship of Azerbaijan, the issue of consolidation of efforts of Turkic speaking countries in the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection and its consequences will be discussed. The summit will be attended by Presidents of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, and Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev. Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is also expected to take part at the video conference. The Heads of States will adopt the Declaration of the Summit.
