Jordan Announces full Support of Saudi Arabia's Initiative to End the Yemeni Crisis, Reach Comprehensive Political Solution

Amman, Mar. 22, 2021, SPA -- The Jordanian government reaffirmed here today its full support for the initiative announced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to end the Yemeni crisis and reach a comprehensive political solution to the conflict. In a statement, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi said that Jordan backs up this initiative that forwarded an integrated proposal to reach a comprehensive political agreement, in harmony with the resolutions of the international legitimacy to end the crisis, protect Yemen and its people and consolidate regional security and stability. Al-Safadi reasserted that the initiative also reflects the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Yemeni as well as the regional security and stability, describing it as a practical step, too, within the efforts to end the Yemeni crisis and tackle its humanitarian and disastrous fallouts. He reiterated his country's utterly denunciation of the Houthi terrorist attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan's absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in any steps it may take to protect its security and interests, stressing the oneness of the Jordanian and Saudi securities. --SPA
