Judicial and Legal Studies Institute holds meeting

Manama, Feb.17 (BNA): The Judicial and Legal Studies Institute (JLSI) has convened for its mid-year periodic meeting. Court of Cassation President, Supreme Judicial Council Vice Chairman Chancellor Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Buainain chaired the session, in the presence of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa. Public Prosecutor Dr. Ali bin Fadhl Al-Buainain, Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission Chairman Chancellor Nawaf Hamza, University of Bahrain (UoB) President Dr. Riyadh Youssef Hamza, Bahrain Bar Society (BBS) Chairman Hassan Bediwi, JLSI President Dr. Sari Mahmoud Seyam and Executive Director Dr. Ramzan Al-Nuaimi were also present. The session discussed the training plan for the second half of the judicial year 2017-2018, based on an assessment study conducted by the institute, in cooperation with the Supreme Judicial Council, the Public Prosecution, the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission and the Bahrain Bar Society (BBS). Other issues on the meeting agenda were also spotlighted.
