Judicial impartiality highlighted

Manama, June 23 (BNA): The House of Representatives' Committee on Human Rights hailed the professional integrity of Bahrain's judicial system, welcoming the court ruling to shut down the office of Al-Wefaq Society and stripping citizenship of Isa Qassem.
The parliamentary committee, in a statement today, added that the actions are in accordance with the constitution and prevailing local laws, as well as the Political Societies Law.
The committee underlined the need to firmly address those target undermining the national security and stability, defaming Bahrain's reputation and sowing sectarianism in the community in implementation of foreign agendas.
The statement strongly criticized the inaccurate statements and reports issued by some parties operating under the umbrella of human rights organisations, stressing to derive their information from impartial parties.
It pointed the progress made by Bahrain in the fields of democracy and human rights. It denounced the acts of vandalism and violence carried out by those target crippling people's interests, praising the Interior's efforts in maintaining the homeland's security and stability.
