Justice Minister receives Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, today received the Special Envoy of the UK Prime Minister and the Minister of State for South and Central Asia, United Nations, and the Commonwealth at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, in the presence of the British Ambassador to Bahrain, Roddy Drummond. The minister highlighted the kingdom’s experience in the field of the judiciary, especially regarding restorative justice for children and their protection from ill-treatment. The two sides also discussed areas of cooperation between the two friendly countries in developing the judicial system.
