Kazakhstan, Germany to implement energy efficiency projects

Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 20 / Trend E. Kosolapova/ Investment projects on energy efficiency will be developed in Kazakhstan by late 2013, Kazakh Prime-Minister's press-service quoted Chief Executive of the German Energy Agency Stephan Kohler as saying at the presentation of the Kazakh-German energy efficiency center in Astana. Two education laboratories equipped with German equipment and exhibition of innovative energy technologies will be opened in the center. According to Kohler, the center of energy efficiency will aim at promoting the energy efficiency and energy conservation policies. It will prepare specialists in energy audit and offer proficiency development courses. Moreover, foreign specialists in energy audit will be invited in Kazakhstan to teach energy audit at Kazakh enterprises to take into account the peculiarities of industrial sectors.
