Keenness to broaden Bahraini-French cultural cooperation

Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, today discussed with France’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Cecile Longe, boosting cultural cooperation in the presence of Cultural advisor, Dominique Schuster. The BACA President Welcomed the French cultural and artistic activities in Bahrain. She reviewed the 2018 cultural activities titled Muharraq Capital of Islamic Culture 2018.  The meeting also discussed Bahrain’s preparations for hosting the 42nd World Heritage Committee on June 24 - July 7, and the preparations for celebrating the 40th anniversary of the French Heritage Mission in Bahrain.  The French Ambassador expressed her country’s keenness to develop the cultural relations between the two countries, stressing to broaden cooperation in future cultural events in Bahrain.
