Khalid bin Hamad hails Bahraini-Chinese ties

Manama, Aug. 29 (BNA) : HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association, has hailed the growing relations between Bahrain and China in various fields. He stressed stressed that the progress of relations between the two friendly countries represents a real opportunity to further enhance partnership and cooperation to ensure additional benefits for both sides. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was speaking during his meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Anwar Habibullah, whom he wished tremendous success in performing his duties and diplomatic role to maintain the links between both countries. HH Shaikh Khalid pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain, thanks to the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has been keen to develop its ties with the China through mutual visits which have been giving positive indications towards pushing the economic, commercial and cultural cooperation forwards. The Chinese ambassador affirmed that his country is keen on developing and cementing its relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that bilateral ties are progressing.
