Khalifa Foundation delivers food assistance to 15,000 needy Yemenis

Sana'a: April 3, 2013 (WAM) - Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation announced that 15,000 out of 20,000 targeted poor families in San'a Province had received food assistance under the fifth phase of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Dh 500 million food aid to Yemen. The Foundation said the food aid programme will target one million needy families in the whole country. The Foundation added that its team had conducted, in coordination with local humanitarian and relief authorities and agencies, a massive survey to determine the most poor families in need of assistance. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
