Khalifa Foundation distributes 500 food packages in Somalia

HARGEISA, 2nd September, 2015 (WAM) -- The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation today presented 500 food packages to Somali families affected by drought in remote mountainous areas. An official source at the Khalifa Foundation said that these food baskets come in the context of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Khalifa Foundation, to help the Somali people in this dire situation.
