King’s order to establish Islamic Studies College praised

Manama, June 15 (BNA): Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri, has praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s order to establish the HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa’s College for Islamic Studies to teach holy Quran sciences, Sharia judiciary, as well as Islamic and comparative jurisprudence. The royal order proves HM the King’s keenness on teaching the holy Quran and Islamic sciences, Dr. Al-Hajiri said, adding that the college would increase the scientific level of the holders of religious and Sharia posts, as well as increase the number of citizens and residents who want to study Sharia sciences. HM the Kings named the college after the late HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa in tribute for his dedication and landmark achievements throughout his life.
