King congratulated by Defence Affairs Minister

Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, received a cable of congratulations from Defence Affairs Minister Lt-Gen Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Jalahma on the BDF 50the anniversary. The Defence Affairs Minister paid tribute to the royal support for the BDF, reiterating readiness to defend the homeland under the royal leadership. He wished HM the King good health and happiness to continue leading the BDF development. HM the King sent a cable of thanks to the Defence Affairs Minister on the same occasion, paying tribute to the BDF personnel’s outstanding capabilities and resolve to defend the homeland.
