King Fahd Causeway expansion plan discussed

Manama, Mar. 4 (BNA): Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today King Fahad Causeway Organisation director-general Abdulrahman Al-Yahya. The minister hailed strong fraternal relations binding Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, commending the dedicated efforts of the King Fahad Causeway Organisation to deliver premium services and promote development projects so as to facilitate traffic movement. Lt. Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa was briefed about the future development plans of the causeway and technical studies for the implementation phases of the project to increase the capacity of lanes on the causeway.
