King hails Bahrain-Saudi relations

Manama, Mar. 5 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed deep-rooted fraternal and historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This came as he received at Al-Sakhir Palace the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, who conveyed greetings to HM the King from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, wishing the people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. HM the King welcomed Dr. Al-Sheikh and extended greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, wishing the Saudi people further progress and prosperity. HM the King thanked the Saudi Shura Council Speaker and accompanying delegation on their visit to Bahrain which, he said, reflected strong historic relations binding the two countries. He hailed the pivotal role of the legislative branch in Bahrain and the Shura Council in Saudi Arabia in highlighting their countries’ development strides on all levels. He stressed the importance of such fraternal relations in exchanging expertise and exploring new horizons for joint legislative and parliamentary coordination. The Saudi Speaker paid tribute to HM the king for his keenness on bolstering bilateral relations, hailing strong parliamentary cooperation and advanced bilateral ties.
