King hails landmark achievement

Manama, Apr.1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum after Godolphin’s Thunder Snow won the 23rd Dubai World Cup on the Meydan Racecourse in Nad Al Sheba.  HM the King hailed the victory of Thunder Snow which, he said, represents a remarkable global sporting achievement, commending dedicated efforts and outstanding planning during different stages of the race. He lauded UAE strides in this field, paying tribute to HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum for his long-standing contribution. He reiterated his congratulations, extending best wishes of further progress and prosperity to Dubai ruler and the people of the United Arab Emirates.
