King of Morocco commends UAE President on contribution to GCC grant of $5 billion to Morocco

Rabat, July 31, 2013 (WAM)- His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco has praised President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on contribution of the UAE to the GCC grant of $5 billion to support the socio-economic development in Morocco. He also thanked the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC) for their financial support to Morocco. King Mohammed told the Moroccan people on the 14th accession anniversary to throne that he decided to further consolidate the strategic partnership between Morocco and the GCC. He expressed hope about a new Moroccan system that would enable the five countries build a joint future based on integration, free movement of people and properties. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
