King offered condolences by Palestinian president

Manama, June 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a cable of condolences and sympathy from Palestinian President, Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) chairman Mahmoud Abbas, on the death of Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa. He paid homage to late HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa, hailing his lifetime dedication in serving his country and people and supporting national causes, above all the Palestinian issue. President Abbas extended, in his name and on behalf of the Palestinian people, heartfelt condolences to HM the King, the people of Bahrain and the deceased’s family. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to lay the deceased’s soul in eternal peace, protect HM the King and the people of Bahrain and bless Bahrain with further progress and prosperity.
