King, Queen of Bhutan in Bangkok for Royal Cremation

BANGKOK, Oct 25 (TNA) - Their Majesties King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of the Kingdom of Bhutan and their son today arrived in Bangkok to attend the Royal Cremation for HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. They were welcomed at the airport by Privy Councillor Gen Surayud Chulanont and Energy minister, Gen Anantaporn Kanjanarat, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Busadee Santipitaks. Bhutanese King has ordered a prayer ceremony for HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej to be be held in Bhutanese capital of Thimpu on October 26, coinciding with the Royal Funeral in Bangkok. Thai people and Thai tourists in Bhutan are invited to participate in the ceremony. (TNA)
