King's Advisor receives Singaporean Foreign Minister

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in his office at Gudaibiya Palace today Singapore’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan and his accompanying delegation. Shaikh Khalid welcomed him, lauding distinguished relations of friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Singapore. He also praised growing cooperation between the two friendly countries to serve common interests. For his part, the Singaporean Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed appreciation for meeting Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, stressing his country’s keenness on further cementing relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Both sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments of common concern.
