Manama, Sep. 20 (BNA): Head of the Jaffari Endowments Directorate, Sheikh Mohsen bin Al-Sheikh Abdul Hussain Al-Asfoor, has extended, on behalf of the members of the Endowments Council, the affiliates of the Jaffari Endowments Directorate and representatives of maatams (community centres) and Hussainiya centres, deepest thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his directives to distribute the annual grant to community centres and Hussainiya centres. The kind royal gesture is in line with the King’s constant keenness on sharing the Ashoora Commemoration with members of his loyal people, he said, stressing the kind royal grant consolidates the kingdom’s deep-rooted care in the Ashoora occasion. Jaffari Endowments Directorate head also extended sincere thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, for their sound directives to the various state ministries and departments to provide everything necessary and harness all potentials for community centres and Husainiya processions. Sheikh Al-Asfoor asserted that the Jaffari Endowments Directorate had put forward an integrated plan to distribute the royal grant, including food products and services, to community centres and Hussainjiya centres across the kingdom. The Jaffari Endowments Directorate opened a centre to distribute the Ashoora season food products at Jablet Habshi. The centre is open for 14 hours a day, and the distribution process started on September 19, and will continue until September 26.
