King's economic advisor receives ITPO official

Manama, Aug. 15 (BNA): Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Fakhro, the Economic Affairs Advisor of HM the King, today received the Bahrain-based UNIDO's Investment and Technology Promotion Office (ITPO)'s top official, Dr. Hashem Hussain, who presented to him a statement about the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO)'s 50th anniversary to be celebrated in Vienna. They discussed several topics and issues relating to trade and the economy. The economic advisor praised the UNIDO's great role in supporting the national economy. He also praised the UNIDO's efforts, stressing the Organisation's role in producing large numbers of young entrepreneurs and development of small- and medium enterprises (SMEs) all over the world's countries through the adopting of Bahrain Model in this aspect in addition to introduction of other associated programmes that will strengthen this sector and boost its role as a main contributory of development especially in developing nations.
