Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker receives Bahraini delegation

Kuwait, May 11 (BNA): Speaker of Kuwait’s National Assembly and Honorary President of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union, Marzouq Al-Ghanim, today received the Bahraini parliamentary delegation, led by the Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee at the Shura Council, Ridha Ibrahim Munfaredi, and including members of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Amer and Zainab Abdulameer. This came as Al-Ghanim received here today the delegations to the Youth Scout Forum, "Tamkeen", hosted by Kuwait from May 7 to 12. Addressing the participating delegations, the Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker stressed the importance of the Arab parliamentary scout gathering in enhancing Arab solidarity, noting that understanding and consensus are the most important weapons to face challenges. He also thanked the new countries that have recently joined the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union in which 19 out 22 Arab countries are members. He also expressed delight at the ongoing cooperation between the scout movement and the Arab Planning Institute, emphasising the importance of the agreement to hold training courses to qualify and train Arab youth, noting that the scout movement is one of the main and effective ways and means to qualify young people and prepare them to face and overcome challenges in the future.
