Kyrgyzstan and Rwanda establish diplomatic relations

Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2022 / Kabar/. The Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Rwanda have established diplomatic relations, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said. The signing of the Joint Communiqué took place on 13 December in New York. The document was signed by the Permanent Representatives of the two republics to the UN Aida Kasymalieva and Claver Gatete. The text of the Joint Communique notes that the parties have established diplomatic relations, guided by the principles and objectives of the UN Charter and international law, in particular, respect and strengthening of international peace and security, equality between states, due respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state, independence, observance international treaties and non-interference in the internal affairs of states, the report said. After the signing ceremony, the parties expressed their mutual intention to develop relations of friendship and cooperation between states within the framework of the UN and other international organizations, as well as to provide mutual support for candidates in elections to UN bodies.
