Kyrgyzstan sends 100 yaks to Azerbaijan

Bishkek, Dec. 9, 2022 / Kabar/. The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan sent 100 yaks to Azerbaijan. The ministry said that the animals were delivered as part of the agreements reached during the official visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Azerbaijan on April 19-20, 2022. Data of the National Statistical Committee says that as of January 1, 2022, the total number of yaks in the republic is 53.9 thousand heads. According to the results of certification and re-certification of economic entities of yak-breeding farms 5, 1543 breeding yaks were registered in the farms.
