Labour minister receives UAE delegation

Manama, Mar. 4 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan has met the Director of the Sharjah Social Services Abdulrahman Al-Darmaki, who is leading a 50-member delegation of representatives of UAE elderly care associations. The delegation carried out field visits to elederly care facilities, as well as heritage sites in Bahrain, in cooperation with the Good Word Society. The minister lauded the solid deep-rooted Bahrain-UAE relations, commending the efforts of the Good Word Society and its Honorary President Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa in organising visits for GCC delegations. Al-Daarmaki and members of the delegation expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister for facilitating their visit to Bahrain’s heritage and tourism sites and social facilities. They affirmed that they had been informed about Bahrain’s experience in providing care for the elderly.
