Labour Ministry to hold job expo

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan will tomorrow open a general job expo at the Manama Community Centre in Juffair. During the two-day event, held as part of the Labour and Social Development Ministry’s series of specialised and general job fairs to increase employment opportunities for the national job-seekers at the private sector, private sector enterprises will offer job opportunities at reasonable salaries. Labour and Social Development Ministry called on Bahraini job-seekers to visit the expo, which will be open from 08:00 to 13:00, to meet the representatives and officials of the participating companies and be informed about their vacancies. The fair is in line with the Labour and Social Development Ministry’s keenness on increasing job-seekers’ chances of finding suitable jobs, and, at the same time, enable companies to meet their needs from national competencies.
